Landing pages that convert for AI products
AI landing pages all look identical because they all describe the model instead of the job. Six changes that move signups.
Open ten AI product sites and you will see the same page: a gradient, a headline about unleashing potential, three cards with abstract icons. Visitors cannot tell them apart, which means they cannot tell whether yours solves their problem.
Six changes that actually move the number
- 1Name the job in the headline, not the technology. 'Answers from your docs' beats 'AI-powered intelligence'.
- 2Show the product above the fold. A real interface, even a mock, outperforms an abstract illustration.
- 3Write one concrete example under every feature. Specificity reads as competence.
- 4Put pricing on the homepage. Hiding it filters out the people who would have paid.
- 5Use testimonials with numbers in them. '38% faster first reply' beats 'game changer'.
- 6Make the failure state visible. Showing what the product does when it is unsure builds more trust than any badge.
If your headline still works after you swap in a competitor's logo, it is not a headline.
